Overview

Bancassurance is the partnership between a bank and an insurance company, allowing the
insurance company to sell its products through the bank’s distribution channels (or to sell its products to the
bank’s customer base). Essentially, it combines banking and insurance services to provide a one-stop-shop
for customers.

    providing compensation in the event of death. The compensator is the Bank.
    ➢ Mpozamarira insurance: Covers life related risks by providing compensation in the event of
    death, it has a range of amount to be paid per family and amount to be compensated after death.
    The compensator is the family.

    Protects vehicles against accidents, damage, and theft. Typically includes options such as third-party
    liability and comprehensive coverage.
  3. Property Insurance
    Protects movable and immovable assets as well as your investments against fire, floods, theft, or other
    damages. Suitable for both individuals and businesses.
  4. Travel Insurance
    Covers unexpected events during travel, such as delays, lost baggage, or medical emergencies. Particularly
    beneficial for international travelers.
  5. Goods-in-Transit Insurance
    Protects goods being transported against damage or loss, whether by land, sea, or air. Essential for
    logistics and international trade companies.

    some medical check-ups will be done for health status

    • Ownership: The vehicle must possess a registration card.
    • Vehicle Type: comprehensive (full coverage) Covers personal or commercial vehicles; depending on the
    vehicle’s state and condition.
  3. Property Insurance
    • Ownership: The policyholder must have the title deed, and have expertise otherwise he must know the
    value of the property
    • Property Type: Coverage varies for residential, commercial, or rented properties.
  4. Travel Insurance
    • Travel Purpose: Policies are tailored for all who choose to pay and will be charged subject to duration of
    travel and location visited.
  5. Goods-in-Transit Insurance
    • Business Entity: Primarily for businesses involved in manufacturing, trade, or logistics.
    • Ownership of Goods: The insured must own the goods or be responsible for them during transit.
